Annie, played by Kristen Wiig, is happy for her childhood friend Lillian and to express her happiness has agreed to be the maid of honor. After meeting the other rich and snooty bridesmaids, she is wondering if she will be able to plan a great bachelorette party and fulfill her other bridesmaid duties. Will she back out, give in, or be the best maid of honor a girl would ever wish for?
Maya Rudolph plays the bride to be in this comedy. She grew up with Annie and has been through a lot with her friend that’s why Annie is first choice as maid of honor.
The snobbiest and meanest bridesmaid is played by Rose Byrne. Clad in designer clothes and an attitude that can melt ice, she disses Annie every chance she gets and is trying hard to rain in on Annie’s parade as she secretly wants to run the show.
Ted, played by Jon Hamm, is just another guy stringing Annie along. He has no real interest in her and even refuses to accompany her as her date for the wedding. Will Annie dump the loser?
This party hearty bridesmaid played by Mellissa McCarthy. Her idea of a bachelorette party is fighting each other in a fight club. The only thing she has on her mind is good looking men and food. Not necessary in that order.
The blonde and money grubbing Rita is played by Wendi Covey. She has some pretty strange ideas for a bachelorette party and is looking for different ways to get landed with a rich man and get wasted.
Ellie Kemper stars as Rita and is as quirky and nutty as the rest of the bridesmaids.
Officer Rhodes played by Chris O’Dowd seems to be the only one who can figure out Annie. A DOI brings them together but what will help them stay together?
